Frequently Asked Questions
How many units of Botox or Dysport will I need?
The amount of tox needed varies based on your age, your skin health, your desired results, and your anatomy. We will discuss how much will be needed and total cost during your initial consultation. If you are new to injections, we start conservatively for a more natural look and can add more during your two week follow up if desired.
Who will be performing my injections/treatments?
We currently have only two injectors; a Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Practitioner. Both injectors are licensed medical professionals in the state of Illinois, and use aseptic techniques when performing treatments. Each is qualified and experienced in aesthetic treatments.
What is the downtime for treatments?
Downtime varies based on type and location of treatment. Botox/Dysport, dermal fillers and Derma PRP have minimal downtime. There can be minor swelling and bruising post treatment. Microneedling has a slightly longer downtime of 2-7 days with mild redness, swelling and then peeling of the skin.
Do you take insurance?
Unfortunately, our clinic is cash pay and does not accept insurance. Payment is due at time of treatment and there are no refunds on services. There is always a risk of unevenness, allergic reaction, or inadvertent spread of toxin and filler to nearby structures, and we cannot predict how your body reacts or responds to the medications.
